- Freedom of movement in the wrist is maintained thanks to the narrow strap and small deflection ring
Ski thumb or other injuries to the thumb joints, osteoarthritis or irritation in the joint, post-operative care: the joint needs stability so that the overstretched ligament and capsule apparatus can regenerate more quickly. Because we put more strain on our thumbs than we realize. RhizoLoc provides a remedy and gives the thumb reliable support to relieve pain and promote healing and mobilization
The RhizoLoc splints the thumb at the saddle and metacarpophalangeal joint with an individually formable aluminum bracket. This allows the affected collateral ligaments to regenerate optimally. A special Velcro strap can be used to adjust the restriction of movement firmly or loosely, as required by the therapy. The breathable material with integrated ports allows air to reach your skin, making it comfortable to wear and preventing sweating. Thanks to the practical Velcro fastener, the orthosis is easy to put on and take off with the other hand. This allows you to start health training early so that your thumb can quickly regain mobility
Advantages:
- individually mouldable aluminium bracket - stabilizes the metacarpophalangeal joint of the thumb
- narrow strap and small deflection ring - to maintain freedom of movement in the wrist
