The inside or outside of the knee joint is often affected by pain. Causes can include instability, cartilage and bone injuries and, above all, osteoarthritis. These are usually caused by misalignments and/or additional strain. This is where GenuTrain OA comes to the rescue: specially developed for knee osteoarthritis, the orthosis relieves precisely these painful areas on the inside and outside of the knee joint.
The GenuTrain OA knee orthosis gives you back important quality of life thanks to the innovative relief and stabilization system. The straps run in the shape of an 8 around the knee and provide relief for the painful areas. The relief also means you feel less pain in your knee. Each element of the knee orthosis with cable guidance therefore helps to relieve your knee.
With the Boa® Fit System's twist lock, you can easily change the degree of relief of the knee orthosis at any time in consultation with your doctor and adapt it to your activities - such as walking, hiking or sporting activities. The GenuTrain OA sits extremely comfortably thanks to its light weight, breathable 3D mesh fabric and pressure-free flexion zone in the hollow of the knee. This makes it possible to be active again for longer and noticeably reduce osteoarthritis-related knee pain.

Indications:
- Medial or lateral gonarthrosis
- Instability (mediolateral)
- Unicompartmental cartilage/bone lesion
- Condition after cartilage surgery or cartilage reconstruction with necessary unilateral postoperative relief
- After unilateral meniscus lesions
- Osteochondrosis dissecans
- Bone bruise (bone edema of the medial femur condyle/tibial plateau)
Care instructions:
Never expose the orthosis to direct heat. Only wash the orthosis by hand at 30°C using a mild detergent. All components can remain on the orthosis. Allow the orthosis to air dry. Regular care ensures optimum effectiveness. Please also follow the instructions on the label underneath the removal aid
