In the case of serious injuries or after an operation, it can help the healing process if your ankle joint is initially partially immobilized. CaligaLoc stabilizes the upper and lower ankle joint with an external, L-shaped plastic shell and an extended sole. The outside of the footbed is slightly raised at the heel with the help of a wedge. As a result, the orthosis tilts the foot inwards and relieves pressure on your outer ligaments, which also prevents the development of chronic instability. At the same time, this foot position prevents you from twisting your ankle again.
The anatomically shaped plastic splint can be individually adjusted using adjustable Velcro straps. It is softly padded on the inside and therefore comfortable to wear.
With its elongated sole, CaligaLoc partially immobilizes your ankle and restricts its range of motion - both in everyday life and at night. During sleep, your foot could fall into a pointed foot position without the orthosis, which puts particular strain on the anterior outer ligament. The ankle orthosis therefore has a positive effect on the healing process. During the day, CaligaLoc gives you the confidence to move correctly and without fear despite the injury.

Care instructions:
We recommend washing CaligaLoc® separately by hand using a mild detergent. To maintain the functionality of the Velcro fasteners for a long time and to avoid damage, we recommend closing them before washing. When drying, do not expose the product to direct heat (e.g. heating, sunlight, etc.)
